Please join us for the next PVSD Day of Service event on Jan. 21, 2019 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). We hope you and your child(ren) can join us at Perkiomen Valley High School to make your “day off a day on” through service to others.

Elementary school sessions will be held between 8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (two sessions - 8:15 to 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in the high school cafeteria. Middle school students will be invited to attend one session from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the high school library. Students will participate in service projects benefiting a variety of different organizations and will also participate in discussions about civil rights, social justice and activism. They will be guided in these activities by high school and parent volunteers, as well as district staff. Please see the sign-up link below for more details.

Elementary school children will need a parent to attend with them, but middle school students can be dropped off. All who participate will be assisted in their activities by high school student volunteers and adults.

If you would like your child to serve, we invite you to sign your child up via our online form:

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0F4EA9AE22A02-martin9

Please note that slots are limited – there will be 150 spaces per session for elementary school students, and 80 for middle school students. To register, simply enter your child’s name and your contact information in the time slot you desire. If you have more than one child, please submit a separate registration for each child. This is important so that the event does not become overbooked.

The purpose of this day is for students to attend and serve, and slots are designated for those students. If you can make child care arrangements for older or younger siblings who do not fit the age range, that is appreciated. However, if you have to bring younger or older siblings, please understand no child care will be provided.

We thank the following organizations/businesses, who are supporting the 2019 Day of Service event by donating materials or funding:
